    Day 1:
To see Arizona’s rich history, the Phoenix to Las Vegas with a Grand Canyon and Sedona Overnight Stay gives you a chance to explore ancient Native American civilizations, marvel at the spectacular landscape of Sedona and the Grand Canyon, and explore local and Navajo artisans of Sedona and in the Grand Canyon National Park. Today’s tour features one of two ancient Native American ruins from the Sinagua Tribe that existed along this busy trade route between 11250 -1425AD. During our tour, we will explore the ruins at Tuzigoot National Monument or Montezuma Castle National Monument, both of which are excellently preserved sites and give guests a fantastic glimpse into the history of its first inhabitants.

Following our time at the Native American National Monument, the tour will begin to explore the mystique surrounding Sedona with options ranging from cultural and spiritual to adventurous and active. Made famous by its marvelous red rock cliffs, Sedona plays host to world class artisans, outdoor enthusiasts and the “occasional” tourist. The tour of Sedona will include visits to the famous Red Rock features of Bell Rock, Airport Mesa, and Chapel of the Holy Cross, but you will also be provided views of Cathedral Rock, Snoopy Rock, and Submarine Rock to name a few. In uptown Sedona, you can explore on foot the many art galleries and shops, get a psychic reading, or enjoy the serenity that Sedona provides with a glass of wine on the balcony. An alternate choice available to you as an add-on is an Off Road Jeep Tour exploring the backcountry of Sedona or a helicopter tour to gain a bird’s eye perspective of the surrounding area. Your check in to your Sedona Lodging will be at approximately 3:30pm where you will have the remainder of the day to relax and enjoy the local surroundings.

    Day 2:
Upon departing Sedona at approximately 9:30am, the tour passes through Oak Creek Canyon, a scenic byway that winds through 2000 vertical feet of a red walled canyon to emerge surrounded by the dense ponderosa pines of the Coconino National Forest. Atop the Mogollon Rim, we will travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff on our way to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Guests will enjoy more than three hours within the National Park marveling at the beauty that is the Grand Canyon. While at the South Rim of the National Park, you will have opportunities to walk the rim, shop, capture an unlimited amount of photographs, or enjoy your lunch and relax with the best seat in the house. Your guide will assist you in your Grand Canyon Hotel check in at approximately 1:30pm. The remainder of the day will be yours to enjoy all that is Grand Canyon.

    Day 3:
During the morning hours you will have ample time to relax, take sunrise photographs overlooking the Grand Canyon, or even do a morning hike. At approximately 2:30pm, your guide from Nevada will pick you up from the front lobby of your Grand Canyon Hotel and transfer you to Las Vegas. Highlights on the tour to Las Vegas include traveling over the Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge and traveling along parts of the historic Route 66. Completed and opened for traffic on October 19, 2010, the Mike O'Callaghan - Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge is one of the few connecting bridges that join Arizona with Nevada. Once in Las Vegas, your DETOURS of Nevada guide will drop you off at the hotel of your choice along the Las Vegas Strip.
