Get in and take off! On t his 50-minute helicopter journey, you’ll leave Hilo behind you en route to an open-air experience you wouldn’t believe. And with a two-way headset, you’ll be able to communicate with your pilot the whole time.

This ride is as intimate as it is thrilling. Aboard a four-passenger chopper, you and a few other guests will circle active Hawaiian volcanoes while you watch the lava ooze slowly toward the Pacific Ocean. Since the door will be open, you’ll feel the heat, even from several hundred feet up.

Afterward, on your way back, you’ll head past rainforests, streams, waterfalls, and more, before you appreciate the unique aerial perspective of Hilo. There’s truly no better way to spend a day!
